learn to focus on the need to master focus and focus.
The choice of the face, combined with depth control and composition techniques, improves accuracy through practice.

the focus selection strategy is not necessary to lock the focus on the subject. For example, focusing on the prospect can enhance the image attitude and visualize the shade subject through the prospect. When shooting, you can try to transfer the focus to non-subject elements (such as leaves, bars), use the depth of the background to separate the background, create a level feeling.

in the picture through the prospect focus, the background, the image depth of the emphasis.

focus level control techniqueFor example, a 90-degree slide can strengthen the structure of the plane, and a long focus + large circle can separate the subject from the background, making the image more concise.

in the image by adjusting the focus level, making the subject and the background clearly separate.

in the focus mode upgrade: from point to face single pair of focus can limit the performance of the image and need to turn to the focus surface composition. For example, when shooting a color-contrasted thing, the focus unit of the plane can highlight the overall atmosphere.

in the image by selecting the focus plane, enhances the visual impact of the color contrast.

search for focus levels

form analysis: focus on things (such as buildings, branches), downward viewing composition can highlight the sense of lines.

Non-person focus: focus on things outside the person (such as umbrellas, objects) to reflect the background.012 color separation3 : use obvious color contrast (such as red, green, yellow) to determine the focus levels.45ong> View depth control: for color-like things, deep separation of the subject from the background by the small picture.

cover up the virilization: shrink the focus range by the prospective coverage (such as leaves, windows) to highlight the subject.

The object : predict the trajectory, select the reference point pre-composition (such as focusing on the branches when shooting birds).

special scenario : micro-distance needs footer + manual focus; long-focus shooting birds with continuous automatic focus.

refined composition highlights the disturbance of the image when focusing on 1-2 leaves or single elements, in combination with black background or shallow scenery to simplify the picture. low angles, down and back shoot can form new angles.

How to learn photography techniques? album recommends

From 2014 to now opened my own food photography lessons, for more than two years, I walked into a cool path of my own love, in fact, is through a very difficult phase, in this stage, the most important is the half-work double learning method I quickly enter. In order to help more people who like food photography more
To learn effectively, I’ve put together a few important ways I’ve learned to blogging, all of which are my personal experience, for reference only. Of course, it really benefits you, and the happiest thing is me, hey.

I, to have “tools”

I first, you need “tools”, great equipment that can bring half-effect to your shooting. My second single canon 6D and the first large triple lens EF 24~70mm F/2.8 is what I lost when I took special food photography.
Eating, such as 50mm and new microphone, suggest that you consult with people who have used it before buying the car, may be helpful.

II, play your camera

It's really important, I saw a lot of people's camera bought N years, used N years, even the exposure mode not know where to adjust the mud, let alone the lighting circle, the speed of the door. Please thoroughly grasp all the functions of your camera, so that your creation has more control, only so, you can create beautiful images.

III, a good photographic bookIn fact, when you buy the car, the manufacturer randomly accompanied instructions manual is a quick introduction to the treasure book, please read it first and remember to learn all the functions of the camera. I said, the classic thing is enough, strongly recommend the "American New York Academy of Photography Photography Tutorial", this book is in-depth to introduce all aspects of photography knowledge and is worth your own.

4.
It is very helpful for you to get inspiration. Pay special attention to the photographer’s light and composition and find the style you like. My favorite is the work of the author of Photographing Happiness, who is very good at light and composition.

5; learn food knowledge

even if you don’t want to be a professional food photographer, learning and accumulating food-related knowledge is still very important for you to shoot.
In fact, your own actual shooting is the most important, you can accumulate experience through your own grinding and practice, this stage is harder, when you take a good photo, everything is worth it.

7, analyze the results of each shooting

you can not ignore this point, each time after the shooting put the photo on the computer to watch, you will also analyze the problem, such as the light ratio, color matching, etc., remember the next shooting to be very attentive to the problem again, continuously summarize the experience,
Continuously improving the techniques and techniques of shooting, you are growing up, go on!

Believe that many people see beautiful pictures, there will be an impulse in their hearts. I was thinking when to take such beautiful photos. No one was born to take these photos, a lot of them are postnatal. Believe me, as long as you mastered these little tricks, you will soon become a photography master. Now, the most basic is to quiet down and look at the basic books!

For photography learners, the first need is technical help. But such good books are few, because the practicality of photography leads to the first-line photographer's technology is best.
They are busy making money, only three or four lines of training education. This is the case all over the world, and most translated into China is the same.

Like books distributed by light, the photographs taken by the authors are so bad, their technology is reliable? The most prevalent entry-level fabric lights in the fashion circles are large-scale soft lighting lights. I think a spectral photography book should first talk about the lightbox or reflective umbrella, and how to combine the lightbox or reflective umbrella with a lightbox as a basic human image lighting. But these books first introduce Rembrandt light, which is a light that is difficult to use. They tell you how wonderful a triangle is, but will not remind you.
How uncontrollable are the shadows next to the nose. Too dark, too dirty, too emotional, too challenging. Not suitable for women or Asians. I think their abilities and tastes are severely disconnected from the front lines.

Books outside of technology play a key role in opening our horizons, cultivating our tastes, deep understanding of photography. But I don't recommend books like "About Photography" or "The Room". People who meet the arts circle, occasionally talk a lot, are often educated: engaging in art doesn't need to see theory, but seeing theory can't do art, and so on.
It is very white, but it is very serious to tell people to read about photography before entering.

I think you confuse two concepts: commentary and theory. Learning photography is first to look at the history of photography, not the theory (even the history of photography is an introduction. First to face the first class work). We need to know what people have done in history, accept their inspiration, and at the same time do not close the door to see what new things we can do. In essence, photography history is a commentary. When we want to understand contemporary photography practice, also look at relevant commentaries. But about photography is closer to the theory than commentary.
The difference between the two is that the commentary is the explanation of specific practices, while the theory is the argument of practicing as the theoretical words. The theoretical researchers are most important to self-prove and to elaborate the logical phrasing in practice. The core of these two discussions is to think about the essence of photography, at this point I do not deny they are very good books. Under another topic, I also recommend. But I still think the theoretical books have more practical recommendations.

Overall, there are few books, but over the years, I have accumulated a few worth sharing.

This is the relevant on my shelf.
Book. I recommend these two books:

I read this introductory book. Its advantage is that it can be developed through a variety of practical cases, instead of giving you the button to popularize the interface first. As for curve, I saw its flexible application. But I feel only good, except for the other books are bad. I don't know the publication of these two years. Maybe there is a better book. And, it should be the last edition. You can find it on Tobao.

is also the last edition, but strongly recommended. Just went to Bean Flower, the rating is 9.1 by the author absolutely.
A professional and intelligent person, the entire structure is arranged properly, in a gradual order. There are also some secrets that can not be passed on. I remember one section is about how to add particles. After research, I told it to a first-line photographer, he was very helpful.

Here are some good tricks. I use it to grind – Guo Tao and his son’s little stone, to do the following two works. Yes, “Father’s Go” was not filmed at the time.

Also recommended these two books, very impressive, but not well read

9 in these books.
On the shelf. But unfortunately, it is hardly recommended. There is only one paper, The American Photography Light Tutorial, which only recommends one block on texture. There is also a book called The Photography Light Innovation Tutorial, the advantages are thick, so advanced than other books.

Learning to spread light can only find other ways, not recommending watching teaching videos. I have browsed a David Hobby before, the experience is pretty bad. Maybe now there is a better.

Bucket is a craft that can only be studied in the workshops. Abroad schools are better, so the first way is to study. The other is to give first-line photography.
As an assistant photographer, my experience is quite special. I worked with the first-line photographers at the magazine, so I learned the principle of lighting. When I wanted to shoot myself, I studied the lighting style by shooting pictures and combining the works of foreign photographers. About this, in two days I will write a response on the recommended website.

posture class

There are about two or three positions on the market, all amateur and not recommended.

I achieved a method of systematic learning posture, which is part of the topic in my portrait series Live. Here is a preview.
This book is an extension of the six-episode documentary "BBC Photography Show". You can watch the documentary first, then read the book. The documentary is also great, and the style of the book is the same: to tell in the subject rather than the clue of time. This itself constitutes a critical view on the history of practice. This book is started with the invention of the camera, so the proportion of present-day photography is not high. Just add the following books:

9 Also need to buy Taiwan
Regional edition. This book is not as good as The Spirit of Photography, but it is also a good one. It also consists of themes, dividing a wide range of contemporary photography into seven thematic categories. If you want to do art photography, you can find the categories you are interested in after viewing, then go deeper, gather information, and build personal photographic clues. Or you just want to know what the confusing contemporary photography really is, then look at this book.

After viewing The Spirit of Photography, you feel dissatisfied and can get more historical information through this book.
The great book of World Photography History is good, but the photography in that book is not just art photography, and in terms of scope is not worthy of my recommendation.

recommended index:

after reading "This is contemporary photography", if you are not satisfied, you can see this book. There are several books to see, but here is not to say.

art history category

does not recommend classical art. If you have to read, choose a book of the art of Jason or Gardner. More recommended to look at contemporary art, it is "nearly useful", but in terms of creative practice, the closer the history is more valuable.

As far as modern art is concerned, I am surprised that I have never read this recommended book. This is almost the best art history I can imagine. It was written and expanded by Robert Hughes for a television series for the British Broadcasting Company. Although it was written for the public to see, but it was not deep and interesting enough. The language discussed was beautiful and long. Though there were problems with translation, it still felt the density and freshness of thought. Sometimes very sharp, from which can be seen his critical stance onining the integrity of this modernist elite tradition. In the spectrum of contemporary artists
There was a series of successful but fictional examples, and Robert Hughes was full of ridicule about them. For example, he says Andy Warhol: "Among the highly regarded artists of the 20th century, except for Sardo VaDali, no one spent so much time and skill to impress people." "He started from commercial illustrations and eventually became a commercial illustrator."

I was interested in his critical stance, searched online, and saw that he said Jeffrey Quinn was "a devout and stupid offender of art, like a Baptist Church selling a swamp in Florida"
“If not for him, you can’t even imagine how corrupt American culture is.” The most funny thing is that Damian Hearst says, “Is the shark dangerous? In 2007, the number of people who died in the world from shark attacks was 1. In comparison, the house flies are really evil killers. Per Hearst should catch one, embedded in the magnifier for sale.” I think the author is fascinating.

This book should have been decommissioned. Loaded badly. Buying two books, the line opened quickly.

Recommended index:

There is currently no good introduction to contemporary art translations, this book is easy to recommend.
There are many and confusing, but few reviews. The physical book is expensive. You can buy an e-book on Amazon China.

interview

recommended index:

read this book, shocked me in the contemporary photography diversity of the unique Warrior, expanding my imagination of the content and technical boundaries of photography artists. The interview is good, it's not the old face at all before. The interviewer's ability to talk with people is very high, she also wrote a beautiful prelude, discussing the artist's self-world and public space relationship. Recommended!

Alesoth is said to be a shy man, but he talks a lot about his work. This book can be read alongside his work. There are various inspirational conversations, such as that he says his work has prose and there is poetry.

comments

recommended index:

I like Woodman's work. There are several profound comments on her in this book.

theory

recommended some theoretical books. These books are recommended because they cite relatively new contemporary photography works such as photographers like Jeff W. and Thomaslaw.
I think it is a reference to understanding the specific practices of contemporary art photography.
